Nikos Bakalis
Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Nikos Bakalis DC is a talented and enthusiastic Chiropractor from Greece who studied chiropractic at the University of South Wales.
He is excited to be able to serve the community of Croydon and help them on their journey to optimal health.
Nikos was first introduced to the wonderful world of chiropractic by his uncle who managed to find relief from his chronic back problems and low energy only after seeing a chiropractor.
Nikos was intrigued to hear that his uncle finally became better; after visiting so many different health professionals he was amazed to find out that chiropractic was the solution. By working on the spine, you can improve the function of the nervous system, which is the master control system of the body and something unique to this profession.
After graduating from University in 2016, Nikos still felt passionate about learning more about Chiropractic. Every year he attends seminars to further expand his knowledge and technique in chiropractic. He has learned a range of techniques that go beyond what is taught in University. Nikos was awarded the ‘Student Service Award’ by the United Chiropractic Association in 2017.
Outside of work Nikos loves spending time and caring for his family.

Alex Holland
Sports Therapy
Alex graduated in 2020 from the University of Chichester with a BSc (Hons) degree in Sports Therapy and is a member of the Society of Sports Therapists.
Alex has worked in a variety of environments including clinical practice where he learnt to refine his skills in applying clinical reasoning based on subjective history and objective findings to recommend the best course of action. Other experiences include providing pitch side assistance to different sports teams which included administering first aid in addition to injury management.
Having participated in sports such as badminton, running, skiing and weight training Alex is fascinated by the
body’s ability to adapt to changes in its environment and how the body is able to heal in response to injury. But never underestimating the importance of effective individualised rehabilitation in order to return to full function and reduce the risk of re-injury.
Alex strongly believes in an evidence-based approach using the most up to date research in the management of musculoskeletal injuries whilst also ensuring treatment is tailored to the individual. Alex’s philosophy is that for treatment to be effective it is very important people are educated about their current injury in order for them to better understand how they can best manage their injury outside of treatment sessions leading to better results in the long- run.
